Ship Sticks, a Palm Beach FL based start-up is looking for an up-and-coming Rails developer to groom for super-stardom as part of our team.  If you're good, we'll make you the best by embedding you in the leading Rails development shop as part of a pair programming team where you will learn our codebase, improve your skills and become the foundation for our in-house development team.

To be considered, you must have:

• BS in computer science
• 2+ years working with Ruby/Rails (provide links to sites you've developed)
• Strong Javascript/JQuery skills
• Strong HTML/CSS skills
• Experience in integrating third-party API (UPS/FedEx/Authorize.net a plus)
• Experience working with Mongo 
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, MVC and design patterns
• Excellent understanding of data modeling and software architecture
• Demonstrable understanding of good unit and functional test writing, preferably using RSpec and Cucumber
• Experience with all phases of product development life cycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering
• Self-managed proactive work style. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Able to work independently and in a team environment
